Wireless WondersLast month, Senior Consultants Tom Clarkson and Tim Davies successfully implemented a wireless link between the town site of Denham and Shark Bay Resources Useless Loop site.  Bonded DSL internet connections on the Denham side are used to deliver a much improved internet connection to the offices at Useless Loop, allowing them to access information via the WAN on their Perth and Onslow servers.

Helpful Help Desk

Help DeskDid you know that we recently upgraded our help desk system to allow clients to use the facility to raise and track issues within your own company? The system is based on Redmine and allows you to record IT issues and support requests for Open Systems to attend to.

Using a helpdesk provides you with improved visibility of the outstanding issues and response times. The help desk can also be a useful tool to allow your staff to troubleshoot their own problems by searching for answers associated with similar resolved issues, effectively functioning as an IT knowledgebase.
